ENGALURU: Microsoft Accelerator has started its tenth accelerator programme with a batch of 14 startups in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, catering to enterprises rather than consumers.
The startups include LetsTransport, a last mile logistics company, Acebot, a chatbot that performs tasks on workplace messaging system Slack, healthcare analytics venture Tricog, and Mumbai-based vPhrase Analytics Solutions, which has an AI-based data analytics platform.
The startups have average revenue and funding of $900,000 and $2.5 million respectively, Bala Girisaballa, CEO in residence ofMicrosoft Accelerator India, said.
All the startups were selected on parameters such as being founded by serial entrepreneurs with technology and domain expertise; deep-tech products and a high level of traction. Microsoft has one of the most robust and long-standing accelerator programmes in the country.
