why Jio Phone Bookings Online & Offline Suspended: What Happens now

On Thursday, August 24 at 5:30pm was Jio Phone booking started  and unsurprisingly, millions headed to the MyJio app, Jio.com website, and authorised Jio offline stores to book the handset. than  company suspended Jio Phone bookings just a day and half after it started taking the orders. This was after the rocky start to the booking process that saw the official website and website - the only two means of placing the order online - crased site again and again. But now with Jio Phone bookings stopped for the time being, everyone is wondering when they can place the order next. We help you find answers to the major questions you would have about the handset, the booking process, price, features, etc.

How do I book Jio Phone?

To book JioPhone you have three options – the Jio.com website, the MyJio app, and authorised offline Jio retailers. All you need to do make the Jio Phone booking is to give your phone number and the pincode delivery address, and pay a sum of Rs. 500. Once the booking has been made, you will receive a voucher number that you can refer to while picking up the handset. When the JioPhone you booked is up for delivery, you will receive an SMS mentioning the store from which it can be picked up. Even the units booked online will have to be picked up offline. For now, the bookings are closed.

Can I book the Jio Phone for a friend?

Yes, you can book multiple JioPhone units, for your friends and family. All you need is their respective phone numbers and delivery pincodes. You will have to make a Rs. 500 payment for each unit you pre-order at the time of booking itself.

When will Jio Phone bookings start again?

Jio Phone bookings were suspended early on Saturday after "millions" booked the handset, with no indication of when the booking will start again. However, if you want to remain updated regarding the next time Jio Phone pre-booking opens, you can head to the official website and register your interest. With this, you will be notified about the next time the handset goes on sale via SMS and email.

When do I make the full payment?

The refundable security amount for Jio Phone is Rs. 1,500, of which Rs. 500 is, as mentioned above, paid at the time of booking. The remaining Rs. 1,000 has to be paid when you pick up the handset from the offline store.

How many units can I book?

On the MyJio app and Jio.com website, there seems to be no cap on how many units of the handset can be booked (we went up to 30 units). Multiple units can be booked against the same number and pincode as well, and you just need to make the Rs. 500 partial deposit per unit at the time of booking.

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?

After ordering the Jio 4G phone, if you decide against buying it, you can transfer the booking to someone else using the Transfer option in the MyJio app, under Manage Bookings. After entering your number and OTP, you will see an overview of your JioPhone bookings, with information such as orders placed and number of units for each order. Now, tap on the Transfer button above the JioPhone banner, and the screen will switch to a new interface with the option to reassign your booking to someone else. All you will have to do is to provide the new user’s phone number, the new delivery pincode, and number of units to be transferred (in case you booked more than one). The recipient will instantaneously receive a SMS from Jio mentioning their new booking.

fake news can not be shear ad on pages: says Facebook

taking ahead its battle against the spread of fake news and misinformation, Facebook has decided to stop Pages that share fake news regularly from buying any ads from the company. According to a TechCrunch report on Monday, when a story is marked as disputed on the social media platform, the link can no longer be promoted through the platform’s ads.
Facebook is already working in collaboration with fact-checkers like Snopes and the AP to detect news stories which are outright hoaxes and lies. This is one of the many steps the social media giant has taken since last year after it was criticised for its role in helping to spread fake news which had an impact on the US presidential elections.
“Facebook has been trying to fight back in three ways – ending the economic incentive to post false news stories, slowing the spread of those stories and helping people make more informed decisions when they see a false story,” Rob Leathern, Facebook’s Product Director, was quoted as saying.
According to Facebook, the ban on buying ads is not necessarily permanent. “If a Page stops sharing false stories, it should eventually be able to buy ads again,” the company said.

Moto G5s Plus First Impressions: Moto Phone launch Dual-lens Camera

moto launch first dual camera phone  —the Moto G5s Plus. The handset is very similar to the Moto G5 Plus, which was launched in March. The major highlight of the Moto G5s Plus is the dual-lens rear camera which offers depth effect (like in the iPhone 7 Plus) and selective Black & White photos. Apart from this, the Moto G5s Plus has minor spec upgrades for the same price of the Moto G5 Plus. After using the Moto G5s Plus for a day, here are our initial impressions.
What's with the look?

For most buyers, the Moto G5s Plus will look exactly similar to the older Moto G5 Plus variant. However, the company has included some subtle design tweaks to differentiate the new handset. The Moto G5s Plus is slightly bigger featuring a 5.5-inch display. The camera module housing the dual-lens set up protrudes at the back, like any other recent Moto phones. Overall, the device is slim and lightweight. The metallic body gives a premium feel but could be slippery at times. The fingerprint scanner is fitted at the front and works seamlessly.

What to look out for?

If you are looking for budget camera phone offering iPhone 7 Plus-like depth effect then the Moto G5s Plus should attract you. Overall, the camera quality is decent but the depth effect could be tricky at times. We can expect further software updates to stabilise the feature going ahead.
There is one RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor in the dual-lens setup. “Both cameras do not only take pictures but also collect data, which allows the software to understand the relative distance of objects within the picture,” explains Moto.
So, what you do with the dual-lens camera?

You can select where you want to focus, and then add a blur effect to the rest of the objects on the screen. You can also adjust the blur effect while editing in Google Photos.
There is something called Selective black & white that allows you choose an area in the photo which you would like to stay in colour while turning the other areas into black and white.
You can also replace the background of a picture with another from a picture in your Google Photos library.
As far as the performance is concerned, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. It’s a smooth performer and is similar to the Moto G5 Plus. The display quality is good but quite reflective. The battery life is not that great and you can expect a maximum of just one day. Stock Android 7.1 Nougat makes the experience better when compared to its competitors.
First impressions

For those you have got the Moto G5 Plus, there is very little to even think of upgrading to the Moto G5s Plus. Of course, the same price of Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5s Plus will surely disappoint early Moto G5 Plus buyers. For those looking at buying a new smartphone with dual-lens rear camera for under Rs 20,000, the Moto G5s Plus appears to be a good deal. As far as the dual-lens camera competition is concerned there is the Honor 6X, Honor 8, Coolpad Cool Play 6 and not to forget Xiaomi is all set to launch its Mi 5X for around Rs 15,000 very soon in India.

Apple’s Newest Device May Dominate Its Market. The Apple HomePod will be available by the end of the year.

Apple investors are eagerly anticipating the upcoming 10-year anniversary iPhone 8 due out in September. But Apple will also be launching another device by the end of 2017 that could drive meaningful upside for the stock for years to come.
In December, Apple is planning to launch its HomePod smart home speaker, which will compete with the Amazon.com (AMZN) Echo and the Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Home. While Apple may be late to the game in the home speaker market, Loup Ventures analyst Gene Munster says Apple is best-positioned to eventually establish a dominant market share.
Buyers may think of these home devices as high-quality music speakers, but Munster says Apple’s aim is to eventually fully integrate its artificially intelligent Siri virtual assistant into Apple users' homes and all of their devices. Ultimately, Munster says devices like the HomePod will change the way humans interact with computers by eliminating keyboards, mice and touchscreens. Instead, humans will interact with technology by voice alone, much like they interact with each other. In fact, earlier this year Google reported that 20 percent of mobile queries are already made using voice commands.
Today, Amazon’s family of Echo devices and its Alexa virtual assistant control about 70 percent of the smart speaker market, according to Loup. Google Home controls 24 percent of the market. While Munster says Google’s natural language processing software is best-in-class, Apple’s ecosystem gives it a definitive long-term advantage.
“As the technology improves, which our research suggests can happen quickly, competitors will converge, and the long-term winner will be the product that provides its user with a heightened experience and improved efficiency,” Munster says. “We believe Apple is uniquely positioned to do so, as Apple’s device ecosystem delivers a frictionless experience, which will only get better with the adoption of voice-first computing.”
Last week, Gartner projected that the global virtual personal assistant-enabled wireless speaker market will grow from $720 million in 2016 to more than $3.5 billion by 2021.

'Game of Thrones': The Surprising VFX Inspirations for Daenerys' Dragons

What do Game of Thrones’ dragons have in common with a 747 aircraft? More than you might think, reveals Sven Martin, VFX supervisor at Pixomondo, which has been responsible for the look of the creatures since season two of the HBO series.
As the VFX team—led by overall VFX supervisor Joe Bauer and producer Steve Kullback—is getting ready to begin work on the final season, Martin looks back on the making of the key-frame animated (meaning hand animated without the use of performance capture) CG dragons, whose creation is led by the multinational Pixomondo’s Frankfurt facility.
“Bats and eagles are the main reference for the dragons,” Martin says, adding though that there have been a range of references as the creatures grew and evolved. “In season two they were babies so it was more birth-like, a chicken or a doe. Then as they became ‘teenagers,’ we also referenced dogs and wolves.
“This season, it was important to show how big then are, so we referenced a 747 plane to show how majestic their flight is, though the main references are still bats and eagles because the anatomy is the same.”
Being the dragon masters has also become increasingly complex, for instance in creating the skin, scales and veins. “It’s the sheer amount of detail. In this season, the dragon met Jon Snow. We are so close to the dragon. This amount detail makes the work more complex.”
With so much overall work in the series, Game of Thrones’ VFX is distributed to multiple VFX houses. In additional to Pixomondo, vendors have included facilities such as Image Engine, Rodeo FX, BlueBolt and Rhythm & Hues.
“We approach Game of Thrones like a feature,” Martin says, explaining that at Pixomondo the team uses the same pipeline that it does for features—Dell Precision workstations, along with software packages Maya for CG, Nuke for compositing and Arnold for rendering.
Game of Thrones never looked like a TV show, but the schedule is as tight as a TV show,” he adds. “We try to keep all of the different elements open, so we can make late changes if needed. We have to be flexible without decreasing the quality.”

Nokia 8 quick review: Nokia's first Android flagship feels special

the Nokia 8 has tremendous expectations on its shoulders and deservedly so - it is not only the first high-end smartphone from Nokia in years but is also the first ever Android flagship from the iconic Finnish company's stable. HMD Global, the company behind Nokia's comeback into the smartphone game has already released the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 - three budget smartphones which have met with positive reactions from both critics and consumers alike.
With the Nokia 8 however, the stakes are at a completely different level. The Nokia 8 has to compete with heavyweights like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel, OnePlus 5 and to an extent even the iPhone 7. HMD Global has left no stone unturned in making sure their first ever Android flagship smartphone is up to the task - it is made out of premium materials, is powered by top of the line internals, comes with Carl Zeiss optics at the front as well as the back and runs on the latest version of Android out of the box.

Nokia 8 in a nutshell

Nokia's comeback into the smartphone market has revolved around three key factors - a laser sharp focus on design and build quality, stock Android and user experience. Having used the Nokia 8 for the past 5 days, I can, without any hesitation, say that Nokia has delivered on all these fronts with the Nokia 8. The smartphone does not have any killer feature or USP - no striking bezel less design as found on the Galaxy S8, no HTC U11 like audio features or an S Pen to take notes or perform nifty tricks a.l.a the Galaxy Note 8.
That might be a downer for some. However, what the Nokia 8 does offer is a very solid, fluid and complete package wrapped in a gorgeous frame craved out of a single block of series 6000 aluminum. Apple proudly advertises the iPhone 8 with the tagline - "It just works" and no matter how cliched it sounds, that is the best way to describe the Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 not be as cutting edge as its rivals, but it surely feels special and does a lot of things, including all the essentials, right
The smartphone looks impeccable, is incredibly durable, has a very good in-hand feel thanks to its rounded corners and curved edges and is extremely fast, slick and fluid both in day to day use and when pushed thanks to stock Android and the powerful internals inside.

Elegant design

Let us break down every aspect of the Nokia 8. First, let's talk about the design. The Nokia 8 looks very classy and elegant - very Scandinavian so as to speak. There are no gaudy finishes or tacky paint jobs to be found here - just a slab of metal milled to precision. The antenna lines are very subtly integrated on the top and bottom of the rear panel which also houses the vertically mounted dual camera setup with the Carl Zeiss branding.
The front in an all-glass affair protected by Gorilla Glass 5 which has the Nokia logo on the top right, the 5.3-inch screen in the middle and the capacitive keys for home, back and multi-tasking on the bottom. Just like the Nokia 3 and Nokia 6, the 8 feels incredibly solid and sturdy and fit and finish is also top-notch. The ergonomics are also on point - everything falls to hand easily and the metal volume rocker and power button have a nice travel and feel.
The lack of a bezel-less design and an edge-to edge display are a bit disappointing. So is the lack of proper waterproofing - the Nokia 8 is only IP54 splash proof. However, keeping those qualms aside, the Nokia 8 looks very classy whilst being extremely durable. With the Nokia 8, HMD Global has managed to make a smartphone that looks modern while retaining the soul of Nokia smartphones of old.

Pure, untouched Android

When it comes to performance, the Nokia 8 does not disappoint. The combination of the Snapdragon 835 processor (which is arguably the best chipset available for Android smartphones currently) + 4GB of RAM + stock Android delivers fast, fluid and snappy performance across the board.  We will have to see how the performance holds up with time in our full review but for now it seems that Nokia has delivered a smooth user experience.
The combination of the Snapdragon 835 processor and stock Android delivers fast and snappy performance across the board
The Nokia 8 comes with the latest version of Android - 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with an update to Android 8.0 Oreo already in the works. In fact, Nokia claims that it will amongst the first, if not the first Android manufacturer apart from Google to update its smartphone line-up to Oreo. The software in board is butter smooth and free of any unneeded gesture, gimmick or bloat. It is Android in its purest sense. And that is how I and countless other folk like it.
In my 5 days of use, the Nokia 8 was also rock solid when it comes to reliability - no app crashes, bugs or any untoward behaviour.

Crisp, vivid and pixel-dense display

The display on the Nokia 8 is also very crisp, vivid and pixel-dense. The smartphone comes with a 5.3-inch Quad HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 700 Nits of maximum brightness. The display is one of the highlights of the smartphone - the viewing angles are on point, colours are punchy and the high brightness level ensures the screen is visible even in harsh sunlight. The relatively compact size of the display ensures that the smartphone has a higher pixel density (544 ppi) than most competing smartphones with Quad HD displays.
Nokia has also very cleverly implemented an always-on display on an LCD screen. Nokia's 'Glance Screen' shows the time and notifications whilst the screen is off which is a very nifty feature to have. This feature is usually implemented on an AMOLED display in which it is possible to switch individual pixels on and off which saves battery life.
However, even with the Glance Screen turned on, I got quite great battery life with the Nokia 8. I consistently got more a day's use out of the smartphone's 3090mAh battery. While a day's battery life is nothing to scoff at, some smartphones like the Galaxy S8 Plus and Pixel Xl offer better battery life. However, the Nokia 8 will also cost quite a bit less than these smartphones when it eventually launches in India.

Why Hollywood Could Make Billions From Self-Driving Cars

In-vehicle entertainment for passengers may translate to big business for studios: "Can the windshield be the movie screen of tomorrow?"

For the past 18 months, a river of money has been flowing between Detroit and Silicon Valley. In March 2016, GM spent $1 billion to acquire self-driving car startup Cruise Automation. More than 10 automakers, including Tesla, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, have set up autonomous vehicle development labs in Silicon Valley. Even Apple has its own model in the works, seen driving itself on the Cupertino streets of the new $5 billion Apple Park campus. With an estimated 21 million new connected cars (or vehicles with internet access) on the road in 2017 in the lead-up to fully autonomous vehicles hitting the streets over the next decade, it's no wonder that a 2016 Ernst & Young report projects that in-car streaming entertainment could bring $20 billion in incremental revenue to the industry.

"Our mobile lifestyle is expanding into cars — that is the next journey for entertainment. Hollywood is an important part of that discussion," says Ted Schilowitz, futurist at Paramount Pictures. He points out that while passengers will continue to use personal mobile devices, a self-driving car could deliver a more sophisticated offering of movies, TV and games as well as emerging platforms such as virtual, augmented and mixed reality. In a driverless car, "there's a lot of real estate," says Schilowitz. "If you look at the windshield and windows, they are 'screens' at the right distance to be entertainment portals. Can the windshield be the movie screen of tomorrow?"

Scientists Set a New Record for Strongest Magnet

The 41.4-tesla magnet is roughly 20 times the strength of a magnet used in medical imaging machines.
Engineers at a lab in Florida have been working quietly for the last two and a half years on building one of the most powerful magnets in the world.
And on Monday, they succeeded. The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory — whose main location is housed at Florida State University — met its goal and reclaimed its status as home to the world's strongest resistive magnet.
Lab officials said they tested a 41.4-tesla magnet, which is roughly 20 times the strength of a magnet used in medical imaging machines and vastly stronger than the ones that get stuck to the door of a household refrigerator. The Earth's magnetic field, by comparison, is one twenty thousandth (.00005) of a tesla. A tesla is a measure of magnetic field strength.
The new magnet — which cost $3.5 million to build — beat the old mark for resistive magnets which was held by a 38.5 tesla magnet in China. The National MagLab had previously held the record for 19 years.
Greg Boebinger, the lab's director, said the loss of the record prompted officials to tell engineers, "Go ahead and make the thing bigger, go ahead and use more power, just go full volume to 11 and see what you can do."
Resistive magnets are a type of electromagnet used for research. They differ from pulsed magnets, which can reach a higher Tesla but can sustain that power for only a fraction of a second. Resistive magnets can run continuously. Superconducting magnets use less power but tap out at a lower field strength. Hybrid magnets combine superconducting and resistive elements and can reach even higher fields. The National MagLab has the world's strongest hybrid magnet which reaches 45 tesla.
Researchers say they can use these powerful magnets to answer many questions, such as what kind of materials will work best in quantum computers, how does a potential Alzheimer's drug change the brain and what molecules make up a sample of crude oil - and will it be worth drilling for?
The power of the new record-setting magnet, which is confined to a single room inside the lab, doesn't create the type of effects witnessed in the X-Men film series by Magneto. But it's powerful enough that lab officials use non-magnetic tools.
"Local people think we change the weather," said Boebinger, who says he gets asked about Magneto all the time. "We don't even change the magnetic field outside our building."
Instead the magnetic field created by the new powerful magnet will be used by researchers and scientists from across the world as a way to look at and study various types of materials. It's this research that could potentially lead to breakthroughs in medicine, engineering and energy.

This story has been updated to make it clear that the magnet at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory is home to the strongest resistive magnet.

Samsung Exec Sentenced to Five Years in Prison For Bribing Scandal

Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong bribed South Korea's president, ultimately leading to her ouster....

A South Korean court sentenced the billionaire chief of Samsung to five years in prison for crimes that helped topple the country's president, a stunning downfall that could freeze up decision making at a global electronics powerhouse long run like a monarchy.
The Seoul Central District Court said Friday that Lee Jae-yong, 49, was guilty of offering bribes to Park Geun-hye when she was South Korea's president, and to Park's close friend, to get government support for efforts to cement his control over the Samsung empire. The revelations that led to Lee's arrest in February fed public outrage which contributed to Park's removal.
A panel of three judges also found Lee guilty of embezzling Samsung funds, hiding assets overseas, concealing profit from criminal acts and perjury. Prosecutors had sought a 12-year prison term.
The court said Lee and Samsung executives who advised him caused "a big negative effect" to South Korean society and its economy.
"The essence of the case is unethical collusion between political power and capital," the court said in a statement. It led the public to fundamentally question the public nature of the president's work and to have "mistrust in the morality of the Samsung group," it said.
The families who control South Korea's big conglomerates, known as chaebol, were lionized a generation ago for helping to turn South Korea into a manufacturing powerhouse put public tolerance for double standards that put them above the law has been rapidly diminishing.
Analysts said the verdict will not immediately have an impact on Samsung's business operations, which are overseen by three chief executives. The company has successfully weathered past crises that include two recalls of Galaxy Note 7 smartphones prone to catch fire and Lee's arrest. It is set to report its highest-ever earnings this year.
But long-term business decisions, such as finding future growth areas and identifying companies for acquisitions, may have to be put on hold.
"South Korea's chaebol system is similar to monarchy," said Park Sang-in, a professor at Seoul National University. "In the monarchy system, you need a king."
There is also potential for a destabilizing family feud over inheritance when the elder Lee dies.
"Samsung was in the middle of change and that has stopped," said Park Ju-gun, chief executive at CEO Score, a private corporate watchdog. "That is a big risk."
Business lobby groups, while refraining from openly criticizing the verdict, expressed concerns that Lee's absence from the helm of Samsung would take a toll on the South Korean economy. Samsung accounts for about one fifth of the nation's exports.
"Samsung Electronics represents South Korea as a global company so we are deeply worried about the fallout from his long absence," said a Korea Employers Federation spokesman. "It will be a disaster not just to an individual company but to the nation's economy."
The verdict, however, could be good news for shareholders at South Korean companies who have complained about weak corporate governance that let founding families wield outsized influence and enjoy emperor-like authority even with minority ownership.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in's office, in a rare commentary on a court ruling, welcomed the ruling as a step toward rooting out corruption.
"We hope that it would pave the way to end persistent government-business collusion, which has hampered society from moving forward," its spokesman Yoon Young Chan said.
Lee was accused of offering $38 million in bribes to four entities controlled by Choi Soon-sil, a long-time friend of Park, in exchange for government help with a merger that strengthened Lee's control over Samsung after his father suffered a heart attack in 2014.
Samsung has not denied transferring corporate funds. But Lee, vice chairman at Samsung Electronics and the Samsung founder's grandson, claimed innocence during the court hearing. He said he was unaware of the foundations or the donations, which were overseen by other executives.
The closely-watched verdict is the latest convulsion in a political scandal that prompted millions of South Koreans to protest last fall, culminating in the ouster and arrest of Park as well as the arrests of Choi and Lee. Park, who was embroiled in a tumultuous series of scandals, was removed from office in March. She and Choi are both currently on trial.
Judges pointed to an unusual arrangement in which Samsung bankrolled equestrian training for Choi's daughter as proof of Lee's knowledge of what was transpiring.
They said Lee was aware that Park wanted Samsung to sponsor the equestrian training.
Samsung secretively provided a huge amount of money to Choi's Germany-based company that paid for the training and the exorbitantly priced foreign horses worth 3.6 billion won ($3.2 million) were part of the bribes, the verdict said. The attempts to hide Samsung's involvement also constituted crimes, it said.
In total, Samsung paid $7.9 million in bribes to the German company and a winter sports center, the judges said.
The verdict also dealt a blow to Samsung's publicly stated position that recent business dealings or restructuring efforts have nothing to do with the succession of corporate leadership to Lee from his father. Instead, Samsung has insisted that a merger of two Samsung companies at the center of the scandal was about creating business benefits. Judges rejected Samsung's argument.
"He was set to benefit most from the succession work, which was part of the favors sought from the president," Kim Jin-dong, the head judge, said.
Other former Samsung executives charged with Lee were also found guilty.
Choi Gee-sung, a mentor of Lee, and Chang Choong-ki were sentenced to four years in prison. Two other former executives received suspended prison terms.

The ruling in Lee's case can be appealed twice. Samsung will appeal the ruling immediately, Song Woo-cheol, a Samsung attorney, told reporters.

Nokia 6 review: Mid-range segment

NOKIA 6

IN  India many mobile brand are runing  wher some are giving  many offer but some brand are very trusted due to there performance .
When it comes to technology and smartphones, Nokia is still one of the most trusted brands though it has been going to give better performance  few years. But with its comeback, aided by Finnish startup HMD Global, this brand is showing us what brand loyalty can do. The company’s new mid-budget phone is the Nokia 6, aimed at the masses.
Nokia 6 price in India: Rs 14,999
Nokia 6 specifications: Full-metal body | 5.5-inch full-HD display | Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with 3GB RAM | 32GB storage (expandable up to 128GB) | 16 MP phase detection autofocus camera + 8 MP front camera | Dual speakers and dedicated amplifier, Dolby Atmos | Android Nougat | Dual SIM 4G VoLTE | 3000 mAh battery
Nokia 6 design and display review
Nokia has always been known for good performance  one that is practical, staong and stylish, while not tending to be outlandish. The Nokia 6 is no exception, but HMD Global has focussed on the style part too and this could well be one of the most stylish phones in this price range. And the lack of plastic — this phone is all-metal and in a very flagship kind of way — also makes it stand out from the rest of the phones. Plus the metal chassis frame gives this phone a feeling of durability and dependability hard to find in a phone that costs Rs 14,990.
here are some brands around the world that come with a certain amount of consumer trust attached to it. And this is not something gained by marketing gimmicks or expensive brand ambassadors, but by the experience of customers and that too over many years.
When it comes to technology and smartphones, Nokia is still one of the most trusted brands though it has been going through a rollercoaster ride over the past few years. But with its comeback, aided by Finnish startup HMD Global, this brand is showing us what brand loyalty can do. The company’s new mid-budget phone is the Nokia 6, aimed at the masses.
Nokia 6 UI and software review
The Nokia 6 UI is almost stock Android, though it is not plain vanilla. There are some tweaks, like the app dock at the bottom with a pull up app tray. The native app icons stand out for their blue colour code and round shape. Overall, this makes the phone easy to get used to, with very little or no learning involved. That said, I would have loved for Nokia to have some sort of an app play, offering something that differentiates its phone from rivals.
Nokia camera review
The Nokia 6 is not a phone that is being sold for its camera, unlike the flagship Nokia 8. But the camera of this mid-range phone is no pushover either. It can do a good job of most of the situations and performs reasonably well in low light too. The camera app is basic and offers just Panorama and Beautify modes in addition to regular camera.
but in the end the results were quite impressive though without any flourish or extravagance when it comes to colours. The Nokia 6 has a camera that will not leave you wanting at any point of time, with the ability to throw up some really good results if the conditions are suitable.
Nokia 6 battery review
The Nokia 6 has a 3000 mAh battery that can last close to 10 hours with regular use over 4G VoLTE. You can get a couple of hours more by keeping the brightness lower.
Nokia 6 verdict
The Nokia 6 is trademark Nokia. This is a phone which does not have one strong USP, but this is a phone you will be able to trust and depend upon. This is a phone you know will work every time you turn to it and does not cost a bomb. The mid-range segment has a serious new challenger and I won’t be surprised if this phone ends up being a big success. This is the new no-nonsense phone. Nokia 6 reiterates that a good phone just needs to get the basics right and does not need gimmicks to gain attention.

iPhone 8 will launch in just a few weeks

APPLE fans are very happy and   excited  after a report this morning  the launch of the iPhone 8 could be just a few weeks away.
The Californian-based company typically holds its flagship product launch in September each year but news of when the highly 10th anniversary iPhone will be introduced to the world remains ,
you have to wait for these  tech. which are show in feature by many website .
A report by French-language site Mac4Ever, which was reported on by another dedicated Apple publication 9to5Mac, claims the event will take place on September 12, where Apple will announce three new iPhones: the OLED iPhone 8 as well as two iPhone 7s editions.
How do they claim to know this?
Mac4Ever cites unnamed carrier sources, reporting that mobile service providers have been told when to expect the announcement so they can prepare for the ensuing marketing and stock logistics.
According to 9to5Mac, the site has a “reasonable record when it comes to Apple rumours” but said it was unable to confirm the September 12 date and was treating the news “with some scepticism”.
At this stage, you can add it to the growing list of unsubstantiated iPhone rumours to be taken with a grain of salt but the timing of an apparent September 12 launch would very much be keeping in step with previous years.
Apple sent out press invites for its major event on August 29 (US time) last year, and August 27 in 2015 for events on September 7 and September 9 respectively.
Apple is really, really serious about keeping its secrets and the company goes to great lengths to enforce a culture of secrecy around new product launches. The tech giant famously doesn’t comment on stories like this but with September fast approaching
it won’t be long until we know for sure if the report turns out to be accurate.
Until then if you want to actually sink your teeth into something tangible, Apple’s main smartphone competitor Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note 8 handset in New York overnight.
Despite the global recall of its previous plus size device, the company is sticking with the Note brand for its latest flagship smartphone.
The Note 8 has the largest screen yet from Samsung but comes with the company’s highest ever price tag for a phone. It also packs world-first camera technology and has a smaller power source to avoid any repeat of the battery fires that extinguished its predecessor.
