Micromax launches a new dual camera smartphone called the Evok Dual Note. The smartphone is probably in line-up with the previously announced devices - Micromax Evoke Note and Evoke Power. The striking feature of the new Evok Dual Note is its camera. Micromax claims that the phone "is an amalgamation of superlative camera quality" and also "ideal performance". Evok Dual Note which comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting August 22 at 12AM.
The new Evok Dual Note will be available to consumers with several launch offers. The smartphone will be available at an exchange offer of Ra 11,000. Furthermore, the State bank of India credit card holders will be able to buy the phone on EMI and will have to pay only Rs 1667 per month. Idea users will get up to 84 GB data with no daily limit and unlimited calling at Rs 443 for 3 months.
Micromax Evok Dual Note comes with 5.5-inch full HD display, which the company claims to provide "clearer and sharper images with high contrast ratio". The smartphone is built with a metallic back and includes arc curves on the sides. The smartphone runs on the latest Android Nougat operating system and is powered by MediaTek MT6750 - Octa core processor which is said to save up to 30 per cent power consumption and provide a slag free experience be it a gaming or multitasking, claims the company.
n the camera front, the Evok Dual Note comes with a dual camera setup. Out of the two cameras, one includes a 13-megapixel sensor, while the other one comes with a 5-megapixel sensor. The back camera also comes coupled with real-time Re-Focus option, which allows users to select the focus area of a picture after shooting, somewhat similar to that of the macro mode of an SLR camera. The camera also comes with several different colour filters such as -- monochrome, strong, blackboard, whiteboard and pictures can be taken in 3D mode and panorama as well. That's about the back camera. On the front, the phone comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter which is paired along with a soft LED flash placed right next to the camera. The selfie camera also includes a few filters alongside face beauty modes.
The phone also comes with front Fingerprint Sensor which is placed right below the display. The new Micromax Evok Dual Note will be made available in two variants. One variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, while the second variant comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. The storage space is expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card. The 4GB variant will also be available in prussian blue variant.
The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The company claims that the battery delivers a standby time of 260hours, talktime time of 11hours, and mucis playback time of 24hours. In terms of connectivity, Micromax Evok Dual Note comes with 4G VoLTE support OTG and also has a USB Type C.
